FBA will provide updated injury news throughout the season. If you see an "IR";
icon next to your player's name, that means that his injury is severe enough to allow him to occupy the Injured Reserve slot
on your team's bench. This injury designation is a Fantasy Basketball designation and will not always coincide with the player's
actual designation in the FBA.
A player eligible for your IR slot may stay in the IR slot as long as you want to
keep him there – even after his injury designation has been changed. However, no player will earn points while occupying
the IR slot. It is simply an expanded bench position that allows you to field a team of 12 healthy players without having
to drop a valuable player who is injured.Players eligible for the IR slot may be included in trades. However, keep in mind
that you only have 1 IR slot on your bench. If you receive an injured player via trade, or if more than one of your players
are injured and eligible for the IR, you will have to choose whether to drop the player(s), or field a team with fewer active
members.
